I think once they see that you are running forced induction, you are going to have a hard, hard time trying to get it fixed under warranty if thats what you're trying to do.

Although, your right about the turbo making the dealership think that it was abuse. I decided to replace the wheel wells and make sure there was no other signs of burning out. the Dealership said that since the turbo and all the other parts were installed by Toyota They said that if it wasn't for the burnt rubber they would of coverd the CV Joint. So I'm just going to replace the wheel wells and take it to a different dealership to see what they have to say about it.

Lemme get this straight...
1)Toyota installed a turbo in your car??
2)They are willing to warranty your car if theres problems??
3)Even if the last two statements are true, you think another Toyota dealer is gonna warranty your car for you when you got a turbo on it that they didnt install??

I would really like to know what you are running for engine management cause im running out of ideas...Im gonna try adding a couple injectors into my system and see if that works...Im not making anywhere near I should to the wheels at WOT.

If you can afford a dealer installed turbo, you can afford a half shaft. Why try and steal from the dealers?

I've heard the black box records the last X seconds of the car, the limits (max rpms etc), and the stuff in this thread. In truth, my guess is, it's like the "tracing" of a phone call in the movies. They don't want us to know what it really does so that we're more likely to get caught, just like they don't need to keep you on the line to trace a call. Hell, they don't even need to pick up. Remember those old movies?

I was thinking the same thing...Making the dealer pay for your mistake....HMMM. I seriously doubt they are going to replace it under warranty. If they do, then great for you, but come on, just shell out the money for the part. You are making it harder for the rest of us and our "legitimate" repairs...and besides, it sounds like you need a tougher one than stock anyway, so just put the money towards a stronger half shaft or CV or axle or whatever. If you go with the stock part, you may break it again. Just my opinion.

I just thought that I would see if the Dealership would cover it because it says in the warranty that it covers drivetrain...

If you do that bull____, I'll personally hire a van full of scionlifers to come beat the ____ out of you for being so disrespectful for the rest of us. I have had so many ____ing problems trying to get just my clutch repaired under warranty. They would have, except for the fact that too many idiots like yourself have been coming in to the dealer and whining about things they broke under stupidity. If you are going to turbo your car, expect to work on yourself or pay for everything from here on out, REDICULOUS!!!!!

I have lost all respect for people like you. I was asked numerous times if I raced. Im like its a damn box, how am i supposed to race this ____? They ask that because you guys take advantage.
