Vibration

Vibration
I have an 06 Auto, and I am noticing a lot more vibration from the car at stop lights, I can make it stop by shifting into neutral. I have about 76 thousand miles. I am wondering what it could be...

It's the plugs. I don't think it's a tune-up. If you are idling rough while in gear, the plugs need to get swapped out. There's three schools of thought on which ones to get:
1. Cheap copper, swap out at every oil change
2. Iridium based, swap out around 50K-75K
3. Crazy high end plug with temp change based on how the motor is tuned.
Me personally, go with option 1 or 2 (I prefer NGK plugs) unless your box is running F/I.
If you have not performed any seafoam treatment, that would be a good suggestion as well.

Seafoam is at most auto parts places and wally world. It goes in the fuel tank and you use 1 oz. per gallon of fuel. Basically 1 can per tank.
It cleans the injectors, valves and combustion chambers.

I have iridiums in there now, not quite sure how long I have had them in there, I think I am going to get copper plugs side gap them and index them. I will also try the seafoam as well. I have never heard anything bad from people using the stuff.

Irridiums should be good for 100K miles plus. They cost more than regular plugs but the gap stays constant over time.
I just did Seafoam in the sentra cause it started to idle rough. After a few miles it smooted right out. I use it in the box every 5K miles to avoid the issue.

probly not the plugs then...try the sea foam, works wonders. i had a belt a while back that was way too tight and was causing me problems, rough idling being one of the symptoms. probly not your problem if you've never messed with your belts and had them replaced when due but it could be worth a check.

So I changed the plugs, put in sea foam in the oil and the gas, and cleaned out my K and N and it still vibrates I was not able to index the plugs because no local place has indexing washers, I still need to order them off the net.

last time i checked you weren't supposed to put it in the oil! thats really really bad for the car. the only time you should put any thinner like that in the oil is to clean it out. and even then you shouldn't have it in there for more than 15-30 min then flush the oil. but if your putting it in there for everyday driving you might have some pretty big problems down the road!(someone correct me if im wrong but more often than not ive been taught to keep that stuff away from the oil unless im flushing and changing it.)

You can add Seafoam to the oil but like padillaXA said, it's only to run in there for a short time them dumped out and replaced with fresh oil and filter.
