Default when do I change my clutch ?

I have 82500 miles already and wondering if it's time fo rme to change new set of clutch yet...Any ideas how to test this ?

If it ain't broke don't fix it. If you're not having trouble shifting gears and your car is running fine, I'd leave the clutch alone. I drove an Echo 285,000 miles and still had the original clutch. a lot of other original parts too.

If you are not feeling any slipping going into gears, then you are good. Just lay low on the burn outs!!

Like PBflorida said, you should be fine. Before I sold my 89 Ford probe GT, I had over 150K on the original clutch with no slippage. I did my fair share of burnouts in that car too.

Wow. That's a tribute to the clutch we have in our xBs, and to your driving skill and care.

BTW, I saw this in our local paper today which also looks good for our xBs:
