Default Will TOYOTA fix it? Clutch Grind between 1st and 2nd

So I’ve did a bit of searching and it seems that Toyota isn't quite like it used to be...You never had to get nasty so much to get stuff corrected on your new vehicle. I have a clutch grind between 1st and 2nd. Defiantly needs a clutch free play adjusted...pedal needs to be fully pressed to the floor. Same issue many here have had.

Well will Toyota fix it or will I have to come back several times with a response of "our technicians didn't find anything wrong with the clutch"

Clutch grind as in you can hear it? I have a 2006 xA manual and from 1st to 2nd the rpm drops so slowly, and when I release the clutch Completely while giving a little gas, the car would accelerate but rpm would drop, is that clutch grind? if not, do you know what that problem is? or what's it called? thanks

I think it is when the clutch does not disengage fully and so is weakly turning the transmission as you shift. You can feel the clutch dragging on the gears, which makes it hard to get out of one gear and into the next, and overcomes the synchronizer's ability to match gear speeds. The result is a difficult shift with some grind.
It is usually caused by improper clutch adjustment, where pushing the pedal even to the floor does not fully separate the clutch plates.
