I've got it. Yes, it does have the tabs to bolt up the stock heat shield.
Not sure if it has been corrected yet, but my header would not bolt up to the stock brace that mounts to the motor down near the collector. It was off by about a quarter inch or so. I took the brace off and haven't had any issues without it....that I know of. My header had some pitting inside the tubes up where it is welded to the flange, but I don't believe this has caused me any problems. I suppose that if I was going for all the power that I could get, then it would knock me out of a horse or two becuase of it.

That was my point exactly. I shouldn't be telling you how your product is to be installed, but I believe that it's supposed to bolt to the factory support bracket......but the tab isn't welded in the proper position for it to.
The tab that is actually laying on the table is the one that I'm referring to. This should (I believe) bolt up to the stock bracket that supports the header down near the collector. If this is incorrect, then please let us know the purpose for this mounting tab.
