everything lined up perfectly with my install. the bracket, the heatshield, everything.

i wouldn't be so worried about that bracket.. it's not important and if i remember correctly you can take the bracket completely off from where it's mounted and not ever worry about it. it's just "one of those things" that they put on there, i dont think it serves much purpose. the exhaust isn't going anywhere without that bracket hooked up.

 

Yeah, I removed the bracket off the motor and have been running it for about eight months or so without any problems that I know of so far. It's purpose is to keep stress off the tubes where they are welded to the flange. Too much stress there could possibly cause cracks leading to an exhaust leak near the flange.

 

Oh....and yes, ICE4ROG. This will apply to the xB's as well as they are identicle to the xA's.
