Default WR Secret Weapon Intake Installed - xB

I just installed a WR Secret Weapon Short Ram intake on my 2005 Scion xB. The biggest hassle was having to remove the battery. Although the instructions don't suggest it, it IS necessary! Fitment was good, yet snug because of the factory foglight. There'd be more room if it wasn't there. The filter element goes behind and below the driver's side headlight, just above the fender well. Because of the filter's distance from the engine, I'd say this intake almost qualifies as a CAI. On the test drive, I noticed a definite increase in response, especially around the 4500 - 5500 RPM range with no excessive noise.

Hope you cleaned the intake inside and out before the install!

No kidding. Better do a search for the username "Gotti." Even if you don't end up like him, it still gives you reason enough to check your intake before your install. ESPECIALLY a Weapon-R intake.
