Default Xa Fuel Injector Question -- Starting to get on my nerves...

So, it's about time to replace the fuel injectors on my 2005 Xa, and I can't find the stock cc rating anywhere. Scion assistance says they can't disclose that information (of course). The engine is the same as the Echo, and honestly, I haven't checked on that yet because I figured some forum somewhere would mention it, but no luck yet. Has anyone replaced their injectors with anything other than stock? The only mod I have so far is a cold air intake. I figured if I could find the stock rating, I could go up just a bit to compensate for the increase in airflow since I can definitely not afford a programmer at the moment. Anybody?

Hi,

With no turbo or supercharger and fuel management system, there is no reason for you to upgrade the injectors. Stay with stock. I have known in the past people have tried to run the Celica 310cc injectors with the standard ECU. They just had problems with it, because the ECU would adjust the fuel back. With too lean mixtures as a result.

Here is what I have from a repair program:
Injection volume 47 to 58 cm3 (2.9 to 3.5 cu inch) per 15 seconds
This equals to about 230cc injectors.

Hope this will help.

Thanks, Sven. My main issue was that no one could give me the information on stock injectors. I really hadn't planned to adjust them until I had some programming software to go with it, otherwise it would have made no sense, as you pointed out. Good to have on hand, though.
