Yet another intake question.
I just ordered an Injen IS2100 (short ram) Intake with a heat/splash guard and Injen's hydro shield (similar to K&N's Drycharger) for the xB. Does anyone think I'll have problems with water if I leave it on all year round or am I just being paranoid and ****?!? Also, before I install it which is the best way for the heat shield to be positioned, where should the opening of the shield face? Thanks.
humm you dont need all the extra stuff...ive had mine on in storms and didnt get a drop of water on it...i would have recomended the cleaner instead.....cuzz dam mine is filthy lol...anywasy it will sit right were the fog lights are if ya have fog lights(stock ones) some have haerd rattling cuzz it hits i have nothing so its fine..theres not much heat under there but it will look nice with the sheild..have fun with the install ..you will love it it was rated best hp intake....
