Hey guys what times are you thrown down at the strip? I know some people wonder why you might race a box in the 1/4 mile but f that. Put them up and what your running to get those times. ANything goes, thanks guys

 

i ran 17.4 stock...........but now i pretty sure i can run mid to low 16s and maybe high 15s now. being that i can beat my homeboi's integra LS that runs low 16s at the track

 

ok good number to start off with, I would love to get into 15's maybe even the 14's with my box.

 

vitz/yaris 1.5 HKS turbo 14.9s

 

toyota funcargo 1.5 full stock AT, FF. - 18.7s

 

i ran 18.3 with auto trans big azz speaker box and 18'' rims.i have typhoon intake and pulley and a axle back

 

72mph in the 1/4??? holey moley. Slap some juice on that box. I'm pretty sure I get 75mph in the 1/8th.
That's ok though, as long as your 0-60 isnt slower than your 1/4 mile time.

 

I know a girl that has an auto box that runs around that time too, but she kicks butt at the auto-x's

 

yea i went back to the track last friday and ran 18.7 at 73 mph with stock rims on and no speaker box so not to sure whats going on there? replaced the spark plugs to see if maybe that will help a lil with how its been boging down so bad latley.

 

cold air intakes make you loose bottom end power

 

what kind of turbos are you going with.. i hear a lot about the HKS. where can you get it... and roughly how much does it cost

 

I RAN 15.4 IN THE 1/4 MILE WITH A 35 SHOT ON A AUTO WITH HEADERS AND EXHAUST. WITH WORK WHEELS.

 

is that a dry system? i am not to familiar with nitrious.how long you been runin that setup?

i gottra be honest i was skeptic but nitro is da best way to go . very safe, affordable, not to mention reliable. dont sacrifice gas mileage for power i got power when needed at the time. no issues have had a kit installed over 1yr now bout 16months

thats a REALLY high mph for a 14.7 car...

he must have had a 3.0 for a 60'
