The corrections have been done to the downpipe for clearance and I’m adjusting the intake as it was rubbing on the charge pipe. Once those parts are remade and refit it will finally be off to the tuner for the loooonnng awaited numbers!
And thanks for the compliments on the I/C it is amazing how much tougher the little box looks with that bolted on the front! Now if I could just drive around with the bumper off….
lol so where does the intake sit? same location as stock airbox? that ic is awesome looking, and i cant wait for numbers. your running 6 pounds or so ya? with how nice this setup is, id be shocked if it made less than 150 lol. i wish their was a shop like this in my area that i could work at lol, actually i wana learn how to tune and do that kinda stuff too

Yep the filter will fill up the void left by removing the airbox, boost will be right around the 6psi level with 150 at the wheels being the target on a solid tune.
Boost happy folks will be able to push it out after the fact *at their own risk of course
As for learning to tune I am the first to say I don't have that ability yet but I'm learning more everyday and fully endorse finding a local shop that knows what they are doing and is willing to give you an explanation of what "magic" they are putting into your FIC! I have always been under the belief that you get what you pay for and paying for a quality tune will save you big later on!

Any turbo boxes in the Buffalo NY area are more than welcome to setup an appointment here to tune their system.
whats the closest shop to you that tunes zack? honestly tho, i think im just gunna copy your guys' base tune, put the boost to 8 psi and fiddle with it myself. but for the time being ill be plenty happy with 150 horse, though i think that ill be putting down more than your car becuase my exhuast, not alot but id say atlesat 5-10 maybe. its a 2 1/4 from the cat all the way back technically all mandrel bends. i need those motor mounts lol, i filled 2 of mine, but actual ones would be much nicer.

Hey Z
are you using the normal spark plugs or NGK.
I was reading a post on the .44 gap NGK being better and wondered (since I run these) would it work or would it lean out the mixture too much since they have a bigger gap than stock?
thanks

Stock gap is supposed to be .032 and like Cinder said just close it up. On the iridium plugs just be careful as it is easy to damage the center electrode and insulation if you get to wild gapping them!
