Exhaust for Turbo
Just wondering what type of exhuasts you guys are running with your turbo setups. Anyone keep the Cat? Hope to hear back from you guys, and maybe see some pics. Thanks ahead of time.

no turbo's, but if you get anything other than a high-flow (if you expect to still run a cat) then it'll die QUICK. i suggest just getting a high flow cat, because if yuo try and run a standard cat, and dont care if it dies, it could clog up and exhaust gases can build up....gets pretty bad. sry i cuoldnt be of more help but..i say go straight pipes :D

If your turbo the best way to go is straight pipe, if your N/A i STRONGLY suggest a high flow cat and resonator as i had before i was turbo. Sounded beautiful!! The only thing i have to do now is move up to 2.5", mandrel bent, no cat, no exhaust with my InVidia axle-back.
Thats my suggestion im VERY picky on how my car sounds so trust my suggestions. Iv'e spent about $600-700 building my exhaust including labor, parts and time.

I'm running a 2.25" exhaust from the turbo back. High flow cat, resonator, and ending in the TRD muffler.
I want to bump it up to 2.5 as I feel the engine would benefit greatly from the extra 1/4 inch but as JSosa said, I'm very picky on how my car sounds and I need to find a really good muffler that will not sound raspy, but will give a very deep growl to the exhaust.

I have something like a 2 in 1 exhaust set up on my box. For street use, I am using the stock cat with a Blitz axle-back exhuast - pretty nice tone. I also have an exhaust cut-out right before the cat that I uncork for track use - the sound is super mean and you can hear the sweet sound of the turbo spooling.

there's emissions friendly high flows, so there should be no problem. the whole point of a high flow is so you can get through emissions while still maintaining a slightly improved performance

Thanks for all the tips guys. I appreciate the help. Starting to piece everything together and figured the clutch, then the exhaust, then turbo kit. Sound like a good order to do things to you guys?
