Default Getting the Blitz SC to run constantly?

I'm going to be getting th Blizt Supercharger kit in a month or two and I was curious about something.

I read on a post that there is a way to disable the electric clutch mechanism on the Blitz SC and convert it to a full time supercharger. Does anyone have any information on what would be involoved in doing this?

Hey man; i am not sure if i am understanding your question to a tee. i know on mine there is a relay and when activated that compressor stays on all the time. with the flick of a switch you can deactivate it.
my setup is really loud so i dont like to run it all the time. not to mention it has not been tuned properly yet. but i couldnt resist testing it out a little.
another issue i have is when i let off throttle the compressed air has nowhere to go so i ordered a blow off valve and hope that will solve that issue. good luck, i am happy so far with mine.

If you want it on all the time, you would just need to bypass the relay and just have the switch always on when the engine is running. Just make sure you know what the input voltage is. My question is why are you looking to do this though? The supercharger is not going to build that much power in the low RPM range before the switch activates, and it adds wear to the supercharger. As for the blow-off valve, I'm running the Greddy S/C which has a built in bypass valve, not sure how the Blitz manifold is constructed or where you'd put an add-on one.

I would only do this if the compressor clutch were to fail, later down the road. I plan on keeping the supercharger in there for a long time and I would like to know that there is a alternative to the activation switch.

Somebody had made a post regarding the use of a universal bypass valve with the Blitz system. I wonder if this would be feasable or if what ScionFalcon is doing, adding a blow offf valve to release excess boost.

Not sure, the greddy BPV is built into the front end of their blower as a one-piece cast aluminum unit bolting to the stock throttle body.

Yeah on my jdm blitz unit you use oe manifold. so i dont know what else to do. but the switch works fine, its on and off when you want it.
