Default greddy intercooler

I love the way that intercoolers look however im completely oblivious to how a car works....all i know is that you put gas in it.. anyways i wanna go with the greddy supercharger because this veh is a daily driver and i was told that a turbo really isnt good for that ( on this veh ) basically i was wondering can i get the greddy intercooler with the greddy supercharger or is that only for turbo veh's?

turbochargers and superchargers force air into the engine so it can burn more fuel and make more power, but forcing the air increases the heat of the air making it less dense. an intercoolers job is to cool down the air on the way into an engine.

the problem is because of the diferent ways turbos and superchargers make power, a supercharger loses boost pressure the greater the distance the intake tubing is. for instance, putting a front mount intercooler on a tc would usually result in a lost of 2 PSI.

the more effective approach would be to add an aftercooler, which is like an intercooler, but it cools the air after it has already gone through the compressor housing,

but if you want a good turbo kit for the xb, look at turbotoyotas, they make a great kit.

I can almost guarantee that you will run into issues with the supercharger. I have posted this many many times but the Greddy turbo is better for realiable daily driving. I have had both, and had friends with the Greddy supercharger ( I had Blitz).... first hand experience I can tell you the Greddy Turbo set-up is hands-down the best application for DD.
www.ptuning.com sells the kit for an awsome price
