Default Help with turbo kit!

Hey guy! you all know that the new 2008 xb is a ____ing beast! I was the first one in Puerto Rico to try it, and JESUS! what a power difference. so i'm thinking that the only way to go agaist such animal is by going turbo, or changing engine, but that's too much ____ to do. so what i'm asking is, what kind of turbo should i get that's not expensive and still can get at 180hp out of it. also, when i get a turbo that gives me that power, what should i change too? like clutch etc. thanks guys, see ya!

wait a minute...you have an 08 xb and you posted in the 1st gen xb forum? your in trouble! lol

i'd wait until somebody makes a kit for the xb. since the xb2 has the same engine as the tc, it is only a matter of time before all those turbo kits for the tc that was love will be made to fit the xb2. 180 whp would be possible with a stage 1 kit set to about 10 psi i would think.

no he's trying to up his first gen xB's power so he is faster than a second gen xB.

second gen xB's are by no means beasts except for their gargantuan curb weight.

THEY WEIGH SO MUCH.

the second gen xB didn't seem fast at all to me. but then again I haven't driven a stock first gen xB in YEARS

U can make anything work on ur car. The only problem is tuning it so u won't blow it up (brand new model, new programing layout, car is scarce so no aftermarket companies have one yet to do r&d work). Most likely toyota is gonna release the supercharger for it to bring it up to 200hp at the crank. Smaller pully, intake, header, and exhaust and it should put u within ur 180whp goal.

BUILD THE MOTOR YOU HAVE I.E. PISTONS, RODS, PORT THE HEAD, 5 ANGLE VALVE JOB, STANDALONE ECU, AND FIND A WAY TO BUILD A TURBO KIT AROUND THE GT28RS TURBO. THAT SHOULD CLOWN ON ANY THING IN THE 200-250 HP RANGE.
