Default Lazy XB

I have a 2004 XB with the Blitz SC'er:

Very strange thing this weekend: I change the oil and oil filter, cleaned the K&N air filter, new NKG plugs and then turned off the SC'er and pulled the fuse to re-set the ECU. I left the SC'er turned off and now it runs like a scalded dog? I guess the ECU gets lazy and expects the SC'er to kick in and help out on take-offs. Now with the ECU reset and SC'er off, it takes off great, shifts better and has great pick-up when you get on it? It hasn't run this good in a long time. Very suprised on how much better the tranny shifts. Before when you would give it some gas, the SC'er would just kick in and it wouldn't even down-shift. Now it down-shifts like it's supposed to and takes off with a quikness with some impressive getty-up. I think I'll leave the SC'er turned off for a while and enjoy this. Maybe the XB is trying to convince me to keep it or something.
