I've been looking around for a turbo kit, and i wanted to see which kit makes the most power. I mean after adding additional upgrades after a bolt-on kit.

 

ZPI Stage 1 turbo kit = 180whp

 

I have to admit thosee are some impressive numbers you got to show.

 

is turbo better or supercharger for the long run?.. i also want more hp so.. but kinda noob at this whole turbo.supercharge stuff

Superchargers give you instant power since it is driven by the engine, but they have a lower max output than turbo's. A turbo has turbo lag because it's powered by the exhaust, but it has a much higher poss. output.

 

Well said Brian. Dragsters have superchargers and racers have turbos.........I believe you would have less mechanical problems with a supercharger in the long run---but it is a matter of taste.

who makes superchargers for our cars?>

 

TRD and GReddy are two.
Blitz makes one that you can turn on and off, electromagnetic clutch. I like that one! The Blitz one is on the MotorFX xB.

 

Have you ever actually got your car back?

 

Actually TRD dosent make a SC for the xB atleast not for the US market. There is also a third company, beside Blitz and Greddy it is PE for SC's.


No Jon I havent got it back yet, it is complete other than solving a pesky oil issue, but they are on top of it :D .

Matchbox did 171hp to the wheels on the same type of dyno ZPI used a Mustang Dyno and a Power Enterprise SC

prolly..he was Number one for a long time this was 1.5yrs ago and that box was mean in its day
