actually, it was only 141whp @10 psi...and yes he was the highest whp manual back then with the 141 on a mustange dyno...it was at the same time that I put down 123whp on the automatic @ 6 psi....he was running the PE and I was running a T20

Thats the same power Im making now. I can make it on the dyno but cant put it down on the street because of the ECU. The dyno can only simulate road conditions so much.

naa...you can put it down on the streets...only for about 10 minutes though until it starts making corrections
I wish I woulda cranked up the boost a lil bit on the dyno cause I woulda been putting down the same numbers as him if not more @ 10 psi on an auto

There is a problem with our ECUs and how they try to maintain a certain AFR. In WOT, which you do to make max hp on a dyno, the ECU dumps fuel in for safety reason. Before WOT, the ecu is in somewhat of an economy mode. When you are driving on the street, you cant go WOT off the line at a light. So,,....in normal driving, its kinda on or off because 60% throttle and boost the AFR would be too lean.

i know about the ECU learning and correcting, but i had not gotten it to so lean that i was not putting down what i should have.

maybe there is more hidden in this thing and i don't know it....

are you running any piggy backs???

I am using the Emanage. If i tune the Emanage to where it will run rich, the ECU will try to trim down so much fuel that the CEL will come on. The only time my car pulls hard is when i floor it all the way at WOT. Otherwise its just like a normal xb with a few bolt ons. Around 70% throttle if my car hits boost, the car will feel like it hit a wall, it wont go cause its so lean.

hmmmmm....that is a bugger of an issue.

i'm not really showing that characteristic with the SC...but i'll pay more attention to see.

You can also go super rich to the point where your ECU does everything it can to bring the fuel back but cant anymore. Its a battle of piggyback vs ecu. I tried that and with my logger, it showed the ECU pulling back -45% fuel. haha, that is a LOT
