Default need toyota tech/dealer help

since my delaerships are unwilling to help a guy over the phone, or maybe just dont want to expend any energy looking up a few things. i need a question awnsered... i need to know what "kind" of sensor the crank postition sensor is? is it a optical/led sensor, hall sensor/ vr sensor? thanks for all your help. by the way, i posted this here because it seems to get the most activity of the xa/xb engine forums. thanks again

OK, with it being a magnetic sensor, does that make it a Hall Effects sensor?
