It looks like you lose your factory crash bar as well.

yes you loose the crash bar but its worth it, why its worth it well right now the car is running rich @ 5psi of boost on stock fuel and iv instaled a knock detector on it and wideband and everything is safe up to 5psi. now i know that the zdi and greedy use smaller intercoolers but being that this is lager it cools the air more and prevents knock less knock the more boost you can run safely (just as long as your running safe a/f ) also its running about 50hp over stock. so out of what iv seen with othere kits its right there with them if not better.

im not using a ems or a piggyback. and iv been told that the xb's stock ecu re-learns itself being that after a few days of it running a piggyback it will start to lean itself out. i would contact psi racing with any info, the owner is very nice and would be happy to awnser any questions you have.

The only way a bigger fmic will help is if it sat behind a larger opening in the front bumper. ZPI and Greddy fmics sit in their place to utilize as much of the opening in the factory bumper to get the most air. Plus they retain the crash bar because it is a selling point for customers. A lot of people want to keep safety equipment on the car to protect themselves and their parts. Also keep in mind that you want a kit that the average person can install. Plus try getting it carb approved without a crash bar.

What size is the intercooler...does not really look that big...What are they doing about the heat issue? The wastegate is looking really close to the PS resevoir.

I would speculate that the heater hoses to the driver side will also become cracked over time due to the over exposure of heat..Other than that the kit looks nice.

You're kidding right?! Which of the companies that currently have forced induction kits for the xB have any sort of plan or even desire to obtain a CARB excemption order?

Certainly none that I'm aware of.
