before you sell your tc, just think about a few things,
1. is there going to be anywhere you have to go that you can't wait until the roads are plowed and/or salted?
2. the tc is front wheel drive, it handles pretty well in snow and ice, i know, i went to college in a town called frostburg, which truely lives up to its name, and i got around fine with just all season tires, even when i was lowered, though it did get much better with LSD.
3. buying a truck or suv means trading in your car, losing money on depreciation, and spending more money on gas all the time, and maybe a car payment too. just so you can drive around if/when it snows.
if you want my advice, just buy an old 4wd vehicle that simply runs. when it snows, drive it, when it isn't, don't. you don't want to drive a nice vehicle around in the snow anyway, road salt eats up the underbody, and they can still slip and slide and lose traction and crash, or somebody else on the road can do that and hit you.
i'd just buy an old AWD subaru, you can find old one everywhere for a good price. they are great cars, and run forever even with minimal upkeep.
hope this helps you make your choice.
