How complicated would this be to order?

I don't see why everyone is putting up a big stink about it...

well if it is for a turbo deisel, it wouldn't be economically viable as opposed to aftermarket. i'll dig around with my supplier overseas and see what he can come up with on it.

i posted a tread like this a few years ago.

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...ight=trd+turbo

it was on the TRD turbo for the bB and ist. its about 5K plus for a small top mount lake that and good reliable turbo and boost. its hard to get over here ina IMO it isnt worth 5 grand

see for 50% more power with OEM reliability i'd hit it for $5K. yeah it's a lot of coin for 50-60hp, but you're also getting into mini cooper S levels of power to weight ratio

that is true too. if it was a factory option, that would be cool. the Impreza came to mind. like trim options, you have the 2.5 RS then thw WRX Turbo then the STi.

that would be a nice deal, and even better for sales for buyers who want to go all out (99% of us here on SL) or for those who just want a daily driver just to get somewhere and back.

well TRD has the supercharger for the tC, why not a turbo for us? it may cost a little more and may not be as powerful as other turbo kits for the 1NZ-FE but the reliability is there

they would never do it....no matter how many people want it or talk about it, it all comes down to one thing...whos gonna actually buy it? I see people starting threads like "I wanna go turbo", but then it usually ends with, "once my funds are together by 2012" lol. Lets face it, these cars were meant for fuel economy...the tC was more of a performance platform to start out with compared to the xB or xA.
Theres a bunch of kits out there so why not go with one of them or make something custom?

i'll go custom route eventually, twin scroll gt25

i've already done 2 custom sets this year, a twin scroll gt30 for the tC and new xB and one for the subaru EJ25

next on the list are 323gtx, vw tdi and 7.3L ford powerstroke setups
