greddy made a turbo kit? what do you guys prefer? turbo or supercharged?

hum i like the greedy ive seen lots of good powered cars form greedy kits ..but i also like the power enterprise one(most power i belive on ascion) and the blitz kit (looks so sweet and sounds sick)as well...but with the box its kinds of a if you have the money to waste to make just 140 hp...i mean you can turbo a honda and get a whole lot more power or just get a mustang or camaro..instead of turbo that cost that much you can build a beast...yo ucan get a a honda acura 500 ...engine b16 1,500 bam 160 hp and only spent 2,000 ....you decide if its what you really want ..plus dont forget not smog legal for the box eithier so have fun finding illegal smog or to take it off... my 2 cents

the thing is to me the scion is near perfect except for power whereas a honduh sucks ****. and a camaro/mustang costs bank for insurance , gas and sucks...

 

yes your right on the scion part but hondas dont suck ...why do they suck?cause thay can make a 160 hp out of a 1.6?or 190 from 1.8 or 290 out of a 3.0 or is it a 3.2 ..im not trying to argue just stating facts...and as for a mustang or camaro ive never really checked to see how mcuh it would cost for isncurance but im about to see how much this weekend cause im really interested in getting a 1990 lx nocthback 5.0 cant cost more than what i allready pay for the box wich is about a 130.00 a month...im a car lover not a japan vs everyone else ....even though toyota and honda will never be beat in quaility...

 

trust i'm a car lover. but honduh is nowhere near the top of my list. they're ugly old cars... they get the luck of a huge aftermarket. just to have to see piece of crap riced out civics and integra's everywhere i go...

did you know that 5.0 mustangs only get 189whp? pretty weak for such a heavy car...

and the 5.0 will be more than the scion... it;s v8 , has higher horsepower , less doors , and is a commonly stolen vehicle.

just wait till the gas bills hit..

the 5.slows can be fast but the build quality is horrible... the interiors by now are normally very very shot. and imo theyre uglier than sin. and a ghetto or white trash mobile. i guess that's different for every area.
i've driven one. make sure you keep the cable operated clutch lubricated .

for racing it may be wrong wheel drive *FWD*, but when a foot and a half of snow falls tell me again which is wrong wheel drive....

 

yes i do know how much horse power they are stock(225hp 300 tq) but im not getting to go stock...and no hondas are not ugly..the rice rockets you see might be but not the real tuner cars...i want a mustang cuse i like the syle ..i want a car for me to have fun in. i would bye my bros 2001 ss camaro 320+ horse power but i want a a mustang...btw he is selling to get a zo6 vette so by all means my stang will be some were around his power......and im not concerd about gas cuause i will still have my box.....im just trying to state that its pretty much a waste to to do turbo or super charger on the box...when yo ucan get something else for that kind of money...i can go on all day about cars and horse power with cost,wight money etc...id liek to see some stock civic si race a stock camaro or vette....160 vs 320 and 405 yeah right get owned...they only stock car that actaully was owned was a mustang vs the sti ..but then again sti 300 awd vs 400 .. and waht that was a 30,000 4cyl.

 

i don't get snow so that doesnt matter. and if i did get snow i'd go 4wd.

and with a very heavy 5.0 189whp is SLOW as hell.

that's going to take alot more money than a tcor sc for a scion. and it will still get eaten alive by a z06....

and believe me i've though about getting an older honduh and turboing plus motorswapping it but..... I HATE honduhs. they're ugly , played out , and the most riced out thing ever.

sorry i was drinking..lol anyways ...i guess all honda and mustang owners are whack then huh...and you mentioned wight and all so i put your civic si light vs a light weight vette..and the 400 horse power mustang is called a cobra...wich yes was very pricey,, and know im not trying to sell him on something else just stating how much of a waste it is..and the stang has 225 btw,,,and no scion xb will ever be fast...have fun blowing your box...i was just trying to show what can be done but sorry your so smart...and cant help if others have money...good luck on you decision...140 hp with boost wow..

 

a 5.slow has 189 WHP......

and 140whp in a 2400 lb car is faster than a stock 5.0 so it aint that bad. i'm not looking to blow corvettes doors. that'd be retarded if people thought about doing that.......

and honestly my plan isnt to go super or turbo but to motorswap. 180whp or 190 whp sounds alot better to me.
