Default Turbo question

Ok I am about to buy a turbo kit for my 06.5 xB. It was a pieced together kit but has nice parts, Garrett T25, HKS waste gate and bov. AEM f/ic with boomslang harness. Etc etc. It seems like a nice kit.

My question is: the boomslang harness is for an 04-05, would I be able to use it with my 06.5? How would I adapt it to work for my 06.5?

The people that have used the AEM, do you like it? Is the e manage blue any better? There is no tune on the AEM, where would I be able to find a base map for it, just to get by until I tune it at a shop.

I am pretty much a noob at this, always bought cars already turbo, this is my first build.

Some pics of the kit, tell me what ya think.

only thing i see that might be a problem is the piping...i got that same universal kit and hated my life for it. after 8 hours of fiddling with that i gave up and ordered pipes made for the car. but good luck.

Well I'm trying to buy the turbo specialties kit off this dude on this site, but he's not responding to my texts anymore. Hopefully I'll hear something from him tomorrow morning. That's the kit I really want, and $1570 doesn't seem like a bad deal shipped.

If that deal falls thru I might go with this kit or keep shopping around. Almost bought a blitz supercharger but it was sold by the time I got to it :-/ I hate missing out on deals.
