wasn't goin after you man, i just think that the "it's the same engine because they're close to the same size" thing is a lil funny..

we have a 1.5L high compression engine that likes to eat connecting rods. the Cooper (S) is a 1.6L factory built for boost.

that being said.. i'll take my car anyday over an overweight MINI :D

back on topic, you'll never make big power without boost. you'll STILL never make BIG power reliably, but those 5 months you're on boost before you blow your motor will be the funnest months of your life :D
