So. What would you recommend? turbo or supercharger for the xb? Imp looking in to one or the other but I dunno.... I want something that will help with the pickup which a turbo would be best for that but ARGH, I dunno. Your recommendations?

 

Superchargers are generally better suited for vehicles that produce good TQ numbers. That being said, I can't justify any reason to run a super charger over a turbo on these cars.

 

how mechanically inclined are you? Have you ever owned a turbo or supercharged car before? If something goes wrong, would you be able to troubleshoot it by yourself on the side of the road or would the car sit there until you were able to get help? How much knowledge do you have on either types of forced induction? If your just looking for some safe reliable power get the greddy supercharger and be done with it. Leave the boost alone, leave the tune alone just bolt it on and check under your hood ever so often to make sure everything seems in proper working order.

 

yea, im a *** so if I were to have problems I would be screwed.. But damn im willing to learn.... see my problem is, I have an automatic.... and that just sucks......
