go with greddy. it should have everything you need. the power for the greddy is about 30hp. The blitz is about 25. and the PE is a little bit more than the greddy maybe 40-45hp. But the convenience of the install and the price make the greddy the best choice.

I do not think that SC have a Blow Off Valve those are used for turbos. I believe that a blow off valve is usd on turbos to hold the psi between shifts. SC don't need them because they get imediate power from the motor. Not sure if that is correct info but I believe that is right. and the greddy SC can be used on 06's you just need to get the differnt wiring diagram for the E-Manage.

superchargers use a bypass valve instead of a BOV

yes they do but one of them expels the air into the enviroment, the other diverts the compressed air back into the charge system. Volkswagens use something like this, but for turbos. They are called diverted valves and instead of releasing all the charged air from the charge pipes in the enviroment, it "recycles" the air and diverts it back into the charge pipes.

That sound is an atmospheric BOV. Recirculation-type BOVs do make the same sound, but nowhere near as loud. A bypass valve for a centrifugal blower IS a recirculation-type BOV. They both do the same thing, allow the air pressure to bypass the compressor when the throttle shuts. A centrifugal blower could be set up to use an atmospheric BOV, but atmospheric-type BOVs are not the best solution for performance for blower or turbo setups. An atmospheric BOV releases the compressed air out into the atmosphere (hence, its name) which causes a momentary "rich" state at the combustion chamber. Since the ECU adds fuel to compensate for the increase in air due to the compressor, and then that extra air is released into the atmosphere rather than into the combustion chamber, the mix would become "rich" due to added fuel without the corresponding air increase. Recirculation BOVs or bypass valves keep this increased air in the intake area, but release it back prior to the compressor in order to prevent a surge in backpressure on the compressor itself, causing damage and premature failure of the blower or turbo.
