I watched teh vid several time sound like gasket blew to me at the end of the run. I watch this video huge shop. why you outsourcing component work for kit. to me it looks like your just changing some components on greddy kit and taking the time to do more tuning that greddy should have done if thy weren't so big does this make sense to anybody. emanage is very easily tuned with a laptop and software a twelve year old could do it. I am interested in ur kit last time I went to kentucky though it was eerie like deliverence most people didn't have teeth or high school education. maybe it has changed but if I get a kit I would only buy one if it was fine tuned to my compnents in house or the software was available for me to take my car to a dyno and fine tune thats the only thing that concerns me. I will either have it done completely right or not done at all. for the sake of my engine.not flaming as u say just will waight at least a year to see oter peoples results before I install.

There wasn't a comprehensive sentence in that entire rant and you have the nerve to say most of us don't have a high school education? I really did just laugh out loud when I read that.

don't mistake trouble with language for unintelligence. very common I wasn't insulting anyone they actually teach you that when you become citizen that kentucky is the poorest and most uneducated state. odd huh don't misunderstand. I think my question about the kit is valid. No need to dishonor your family with such words.

Intelligence is measured by absorbtion, comprehension, and application of knowledge. Be it the theory of forced induction or the English language, this thread is very off-topic now.

You are really showing your ignorance now being as Louisville is one of the top ten largest cities in the country last time I checked. Guess its all us broke un-educated rednecks buying up land that made it this way. Gosh sir, please forgive me. Not being able to read is a real dis-advantage I find when trolling through a car board.

How ever, you do live in Mecklinberg (sp) county if you live in Charlotte and I believe they had the largest concentration of aids/hiv carriers in the country last time I checked as well.

On-topic, you can tune the emanage all you want once you get it.

Alright, enough about the bashing of each others intelligence and which state/area is better/poorer.

Any idea of when the xB will make it to the track?

Brian it may be awhile. Mr. ZPI (Kenny) and Miss ZPI (Keisha) are getting married this week here in FL. So unless Joey or Sean take it, which I think they will be swamped with other work and proably attending the wedding also, it could be awhile.

I am sure you guys did the math all ready, I am just way too broke for that.
While I agree it is a big chunk of change. You have to remember that it costs a considerable amount of money and time to develop forced induction technology for cars such as ours. Whether its TC/XB/XA these cars were not designed to be boosted. To get to a point where you have a safe, reliable, and efficient kit costs $$$. There are other kits (custom and prefab) which are just as expensive or just a little bit less but don't show the promise that the ZPI kit is showing right now.

It all goes back to the old addage, "If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it". What alot of people don't take into account is, you can't just buy a turbo and slap it on and everything is "ok"... There's tuning, increased fuel costs, ancillaries (gauges, clutch, etc) increase in cost of oil/tranny oil (going to synthetic and changing more often), and much more.. It's a major commitment that alot of us go into blindly. If you are not ready then just wait for a while... That's what I did...
Good call, I am way to broke to affoard that king of constant maintenence. I did a lot of reading as too all of the periphriels that need to be bought, and adjusted, I think I would rather just buy a car that was enginered to be force fed, and go from there. I am not a mechanic, and would much rather do light tuning than go to college just to modify my car. Thanks for the reality check.

everyone is an expert... i dont even know where to begin with this one.

no gasket blew. the kit was built from scratch in a day and a half, no outsourcing whatsoever. im not going to touch the tuning comment, emanage is pretty easy to learn, but any untrained lummox can blow up a car as quickly as the next. EXTREME eastern kentucky is quite redneck and there are many degenerate, 'ruckus-like' people running around , but it in no way is a representation of the state. i think youre all going to be shocked and surprised at the production kit, i finished it up last week and almost want to post some teaser pics, but i cant. proshops xb should be running this week, until then...
