Default Xa owners! possible supercharger need opinion not out

I've been talking with a supercharger company and they are considering making a kit specifically for the Xa it will be like a vortech system and controlled by a standalone computer. The kit would also come with a custom carbon fiber hood to accomadate the blower that is adjustable up to 16 pounds of boost. The kit would come with a fuel pump and all components relitive to fuel management. The kit would sell for around 3 thousand dollars and would be very easy to install. All I need to know right now is how much interest there is in a kit like this from Xa owners only please. not to exclude the Xb guys but the company wants an accurate sample of interested Xa owners. The carbon fiber hood will be custom made to give clearance for a large blower. This kit will also be made street legal if possible. At this time I cannot give you horsepower estimates or tourque estimates but I would imagine they would be very high and you will have the headroom to upgrade engine internals to break the 200whp mark. please just leave a quick post saying yes i would be interested with solid components and solid numbers. or no I wouldn't be. This post will weigh very heavily on whether this manufacturer considers making this kit and it is their decision. I am not a liberty to discuss who they are but they are very reputable and have been around along time. This project is in the thought stage right now it is in your hands largely on whether it becomes a reality and there will be a follow up kit for the Xb in all likelyhood if it can be made street legal which is a major goal.

since I cannot talk about other peoples kits or their tuning or management issues. because as far as I know they all run off of emanage. This will be a totally diffrent animal with tons of doors unlocked that haven't been before in a scion kit. There are companies that offer affordable engine internals now for the Xa. TRD is pushing 12psi on stock components with no problem it is in the tuning. A simple yes or no will suffice if there is intrest then it might happen. If I can't get an accurate sample I can assure everyone it's not going to happen and I really hope something like this gets made for our car especially by this company.

im a YES......and to all worried about internals you can find my topic in power/drivetrain forum with a link to forged turbo pistons that are actually for sale and in stock unlike some other companies fabled pistons....cough...ZPI....cough. all you need with the pistons is get the rods magnfluxed and shotpeend and TUNE CORRECTLY and itll take that boost

http://www.wiseco.com/Catalogs/Automobile.aspx for pistons they will be listed by the engine code since they came out for the echo first. I hope more interest comes soon as this isn't going to cut it it takes alot of R&D to put together a very good kit and the cost has to be justified to the demand. so I guess I'll waight and see. I'll let it run for another week and a half then I'll be submitting it to the company regardless of the results Thats the timeframe I was given.

also here is link to a site that offers a full engine kit you can even get overboar sizes you may also want to try CP PISTONS or CROWER RODS. here is your link http://www.importperformanceparts.ne...ek-toyota.html I also find it very strange that all the echo forums these guys are running between 14-18 pounds of boost on standalone engine management and are making well over 200 horsepower out of our engines. They are also running 14 on stock internals safely with a standalone tuned properly and the right fuel setup. so has anybody but me thought that emanage and our stock ecu might be the problem with boosting the scion Xa and XB. I think it is and I think we could learn some stuff from the echo community. I also thik this kit if made will have the components to get you started on the right foot.

I hope we get enough xA owners, so the company makes the supercharger.

The only other company I know of that makes a supercharger for the xA is Blitz.
