this guy is an idiot.. im on here lookin up info for my buddies car and i see this stick is better blah blah blah. Sticks are fun no doubt, but and auto will build boost on the line with a converter and a transbrake. Where a stick you have to retard the timing and if im not mistaken you dont have a distrbutor so its a problem and alot of work to do that. Autos r definetly consistent. I personally have a 93 mustang with an auto, 331cu stroker, t76 turbo, and 80shot of NOS so lets see how that stick will handle it when you pull up beside something with power.

Letsee, my last turbo neon drag car auto only made 19psi staging, the twin turbo small block camaro i raced years ago only made 11psi staging...
dood, do some research.

Autos have MANY advantages. They take ALOT more power when built properly, the gears are much longer=more time under boost and less shifts=lower et's, they are absolutely consistent, and you will actually build MORE boost on an auto powerbraking the car, as long as you have a properly sized setup.

When you rev a car on a 5 speed w/ the clutch in you are not loading the engine and are not generating enough airflow to spool a turbo beyond a few psi unless you have a large motor and a smaller to medium sized turbo. ON an auto, when your powerbraking, your loading the crap out of the engine and moving ALOT more air.
On identically setup cars with the exception of trans, you'll build on average around 40-50% MORE boost stalling a converter on an auto than loading the driveline on a 2step in a manual car.

Wow that is why they have a huge market for automatic racing transmissions. What a bunch of naive people we have on this board.
