Well mine you dont cause I have a direct connect turbo back exhaust... But yes I beleive you may have to cut the exhaust... but ZPI will be the best to answer this question.

Patience young Nick... beleive me it will be worth the wait..

haha i dont doubt this at all. after meeting him at scion night and working his booth with him i have the upmost respect for him as well as his company.

i just got my clutch in the mail and am going off to have it installed by someone whoever wants to do it the cheapest lol.

im just SICK and TIRED of all the STUID civic/v6 stang owners who come up on me and rev like my toaster is a speed demon. i dont know if its the two-tone or the super low drop..w/e soon enough i will be the one who revs back with a FAT grin on my face.

and how the heck did you know my name?

we are not shipping you the kit until you install the clutch....it is not right to the turbo to sit and look at the box and not be allowed to play....these are the rules of the land.....
CLUTCH goes in this weekend! so you can ship you can ship!!! ship ship ship away!

I notice the kit claims to be for 05+ Scion xBs.......are there any major differences between 05 and up versus an 04 model, because my xB is an 04.

fusionscion (Peter) has an 04 and he was the 3rd xB to be turboed with the ZPI setup.. I do beleive there were a few subtle changes in the under carraige... but nothing that a few changes wouldn't cure.. So you to can have a ZPI turbo setup..

Well as far as I know there are no dyno's other than ZPI's first ,back in June... But they are still estimating a 100% WHP increase with this kit and when they estimate.. they are usally pretty close.. if not dead on... I have not had the time nor the money to Dyno my Auto setup yet... Fusionscion, is getting retuned and the boost turned up this weekend. He then will have a new clutch installed and hopefully after the clutch breaks in he can get a dyno done.

As for requirements, not sure exactly what you mean by that... but some money and the need..the need for speed..

I'll let ZPI answer ..as to where good shops in Cali are..

If you guys have anymore question, please ask.. I will answer what I can and if I cant then I will pass it on to the ZPI crew..

so when purchasing this kit...

what will one need for it to function properly and to its full potential? (add parts, etc)

how much is one looking to roughly spend?

Well full potential can mean alot..atleast it does to me.. But I would say, new clutch, upgraded exhaust, boost guage, wideband A/F guage, and colder plugs... to start with...

So you can get all that from ZPI (they are still working on their 2.5" turbo back exhaust) for a rough estimate of $3600 - $3700

Now this does not include the install or a custom tune.. but you get the picture..

Now when I think of full potential.. I think pistons, rods, sleeves and P&P... but the above mentioned stuff will get you some great WHP...

Sensez...

You might try PM'ing "rollhard" to see if the shop he is at (Race Precision) would be willing to do the install.

and on top of all that. make sure you have the know how and knowelege (sp?) to know whats going on when you do a major modification such as a turbo..or have a really really close friend who does lol. THis will save you MANY headaches and MANY MANY dollars out of the wallet.
