So I was searching around for why the rear speakers in the 06 xA sucked so bad, like it is a 3 way with only the sub working. I adjusted all the settings and could only get it a little better, well I found a thread from 2010 that said hold in the SSP for 5 seconds and you can cycle through xA, xB, and TC modes, TC is default... I just did this, I was about to find speakers for $50-$100 just so when I ride in her car it will sound alright....

So in short hold down the SSP until TC shows up and cycle through xA or xB for the sound you like.

I never heard of this trick. Pretty handy. I got a new head unit a few weeks after getting the xA so didn't notice it.
