Anyone try this yet? I have the pinout for the iPod cable and plan on changing the cable to send 5VDC charge instead of the 12VDC so it can work. If it hasn't been done yet, then guess that I'll take pics and do a write-up

 

I heard there is an adapter which i would suggest doing that just my opinion

 

yup...already have it. but it doesnt clip into the iphone and you cant use it with the ipod cup holder.

 

mine works. but i have the ebay cable, not the oem style one. 1st gen iphone

this works fine with my iphone.... clips into the phone and the stock cable. also its backwards compatible with all older iphones and ipods..

Update...... if you bought the Scosche passPort then the new lightning to 30pin fits on it to but sometimes gives you errors so you gotta unplug them and reattach them. but it works for the iphone 5
