i just bought an 05' scion xA with 74000 miles.i've had for a little over a month now and like a week and a half ago i went to turn on the a/c and it sounds like something is loose in there. So i put it on full blast to see if maybe something got jammed but it sounded like it was gonna pop off lol. Any ideas wat it is it doesnt have a fan in there does it its a blower so wats making that noise cause it sounds like a fan.

 

Probably needs to be taken apart and cleaned, there might be something in there, a screw or a piece of paper, a small rodent perhaps.

 

Who was it awhile back that dropped a screw down in theirs?

Turn on AC and get shot with a screw

Have you tried looking to see if there is something in there or maybe the "fan"/"blower" ( same thing different name) itwill be under the passenger side dash.
