Smile 2004 xA aftermarket Head Unit installed - What about the Gap?

I have an 04 xA, and just took out the factory Pioneer radio and replaced with a Sony head under that has iPhone capabilities. I ordered the kit with the wiring harness and mounting parts, but what do I do about the gap around the head unit. There is probably about a 1/4" gap around the radio and it looks like its out of place or too small for the opening. I got a double DIN head unit, so I don't have any of that pocket crap to deal with. Is there some kind of faceplate ring or something I can get to fill the gap? Or is my only option to go to a car audio place and get a custom made deal? Any ideas?

You need these for the gaps:

Ok thanks, I got that part (haven't put it in yet), but that will only help with the gaps at each end of the head unit. There is also a gap on the top and bottom, although maybe just slightly less in size, but still a gap. Is there nothing for the top or bottom gaps? I'll try to install the side pieces tonight, but I might have to live with the gap on the top and bottom.

Ok, well thanks ack, I'll install the dash kit and see how it goes. I got a Sony WX-GT77UI Double DIN head unit, which looks great with the circular design to go along with the other circular items on the XA interrior. Thanks for the help!

Zman, there is a vehicle compatibility check box on the amazon page, just put in your year and model and it should tell you for sure.

I took everything back out and tried to install the side brackets, but it looks like I'm missing something. I am using the factory metal mounts for the head unit, which are not able to be used at the same tine as these side brackets. The brackets would close up most of the gap and look nice but if I install them then I can't use the factory metal head unit mounts that attack to the sides of the head unit. This results in not being able to mount the head unit in the dash. I guess i can do more searching to find more install parts, but right now it's going back in like it was, sticking out a little and gaps on the sides.

Here are some pics of what I'm talking about. I could probably cut off the mounting part of the plastic parts from the install kit, but then I'd have to glue them onto the radio and I don't want that. I'm searching for some kind of aftermarket mounting hardware now.

P.S. the top and bottom gap wasn't actually a gap, it looks ok, I was installing in a dark parking garage, after looking at it in better light, its fine on the top and bottom, the gap is only on the sides.

I managed to get the dash kit installed, but I had to saw off about half of the plastic side that is supposed to screw onto the side of the head unit. There is a little slit where a metal post on the factory mounts that these pieces fit onto. The problem was that the dash kit would not fit without being cut because of protrusions from the factory mounts on the sides of the head unit. Install complete and looks pretty good.

I wasn't planning on buying something to fix this.
I figured I could use some black plastic and fasten it beside the headunit in some way. Or I may end up buying this.
