Default 2005 xB plug for MP3 player????

2005 xB (camo) with 1300 miles

I have the factory pioneer mp3/cd unit and a factory sub.

I would like to plugin my mp3 player w/o using a FM transmitter thingy.

Is there anyway to do this - I don't see anything on the front of the unit - haven't checked the back.

help..

Im not 100% sure on this but I dont think you can plug a out side source into the stock head unit with out a adapter (sp?) in the back. So if you can might just be easier to burn your MP3's to a cd & just play it that way.

Default I could..but ....

yeah I do that (burn disks) already...it is just an extra step....

Adapter thiingie? Any more info? you don't mean a FM transmitter thing, right?

Another thought - I really haven't found much info on the stock unit - my owners manual doesn't tell me too much....is there a manual for the head unit somewhere? Maybe that would have some information about this (plugin external audio source) sort of thing...
