I am an owner of a 2006 Scion Xa and I am having trouble programming my remotes. I know that this car didnt come with standard keyless entry so I looked and I found a RS3200 Remote Module already installed. Couple weeks later I changed the battery and when I installed the new battery the alarm went off. Therefore, I thought that the remote module was still working properly. I bought remotes for this car with the correct FCC ID and I have tried the programming instructions over 30 times without any success. I cant get the car to "LOCK and UNLOCK" to tell me it is in programming mode right after I turn the inginition from "LOCK to ON to OFF"(A step to program the remotes). Is there a switch on the remote module to turn on in order to recieve the remote signals? Is there a SPECIFIC step I must to program the remotes correctly? Why am I not able to program the remotes?
