The 06 models all have the same steering wheel that the tC has with the audio controls.
The 05 tC didn't have audio controls. I don't particularly like the steering wheel controls, and they don't work with alot of aftermarket radios, even with a pac. Does anyone know if it is possible to get the blank silver peice by itself from the 05 tCs and swap it out to remove the controls without having to buy the whole steering wheel etc.
I'm not even sure how the peice comes off of the steering wheel.

 

I find it funny you ask because I have an 06 xB w/o the controls and would like to have them.

To bad its not an easy swap and I would rent a car and swap wheels with you.

 

I think you'll need to consult your dealer to find out if that part is available...
