Default 2006 xB Release Series 3.0 Envy Green DVD Monitors problem..

So I just bought this model used, and I looooove it, my question is, does anybody else have problems with the DVD monitors on the headrests? If I leave one on while driving it stays on no problem,
but when I leave both on they work for about a minute and then the monitors shut off and can't be turned back on, but the DVD audio still plays. Is this common? Can anyone suggest anything?
PLEASE HELP!

Other than that I love it.

Yea everyone has this problem, theirs a few forums kicking around with the parts that need changed out. Toyota should of made it a recall.
After you get the part numbers take it into your local Scion dealership and they'll fix the issue, mines been working fine since I got it fixed a year ago.

Thank you thank you thank you

Do you know what parts need to be fixed so I can give the dealership a heads up? I bought through a dealership (not a toyota one) and all thats left on the car is dealership warranty.

The monitors will still be covered under the Toyota Service Bulletin. Your local dealership should be able to look it up in their system.

Do any of you have a manual for the Alpine radio/dvd that comes with the 06 xB release 3.0? I just bought my daughter this car and it came with all of the manuals except this one. I'll be happy to pay for a copy. Thanks. Jimmy
