I just did mine tonite. they fit in there real snug, but you can use a small screwdriver and pop one end out and change to another color.
yeah i could change later... but why waste my time/ money. i'd get the infinite color, but no controller? i bet when i got them all hooked up i wouldnt be able to get them to change in sync. still cant decide what color.

yeah wasnt to bad at all, of course it was easier since I already had the cathodes and switch installed. I was also thinking about having them hooked up to the dome light but not really sure if I want it that way yet. I'm happy with just the switch right now.
Im gonna do the same but since i have the RS 1.0 i have leds in the cup holders im gonna run em down the center pillar and tap in under the seats.

but yeah the strips mounting local is excellent!!!!! Big Props!!

Did mine tonight.

Thanks for the great DIY.

I considered doing mine off of the dome light then changed my mind to go off of a switch. I am glad I put it off of the switch.

I ordered 4 green lights but 2 of them are on back order. So when I get the first 2 I will install them and wait for the other two.

You have to be careful chiseling though. You can "bruise" the plastic if you get too close to the outside of the handle. Then you will see light spots on the handle.

Is there a way to wire this into the switch that turns on the lights where your feet go? (I was suckered in and bought the factory ones and I have the switch near my handbrake / shift *** ) I was just wondering if I can hit that switch to turn on the floor lights and these ones. Also, how hard would that wiring be? I'm a novice, so if it would be too challenging or too big of a possibility to screw something up, I'd like to know. :D

It wouldn't be hard at all. Pull the wires from the grab handle LEDs along the edge of the headliner (you'll have to remove trim like B pillar to push wires up under headliner). Once you get them to the A pillar, ground both lights there then continue running your power wire through side of dash and to the footwell lights. Now just tap into the power wire for your factory lights (from switch).

Could someone draw up a real simple diagram showing how to hook all four up to a power source and switch?
