hey everybody...well i got in a minor accident (i got rear ended)... it was really minor, all it really did was crack my back bumper, no airbags came out...I came out of the accident okay and every thing was good...until a couple of days ago.. i was with my girlfriend in the car and the car was off, and i think my girlfriend accidentally hit the steering wheel airbag or the passenger airbag, well the whole point is that i turned on the car and the airbag light was on and now it stays on when i'm driving...ive tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery but nuthing works..can someone please help me?!?

 

the light means somethng in your airbag system is not operating correctly so you might want to check the connections and anything that might look suspicious. hope that helps a little.

 

I wrapped a GPS cable around the steering column between the horn button and steering wheel. It damaged the spiral cable and lit up the air bag light.
