Alarm indicator LED question

Has anyone ever switched out their regular blinking LED for a differently designed LED light (i.e. LED bar, design, etc)? If you have, what did you use?

I was going to add a second one right up in the middle of the dash up by the front windscreen.

But I can't be bothered to pull out the dash fully to do it.

or you can just put one in the pillar. it comes out easily.
