is there a way to integrate the scion security with a 2way alarm like the viper, compustar, etc? or do i have to just take out the entire scion security?

 

I'm in the process of doing just that. Compustar and adding a voice module, 2 stage proximity (motion) and video cameras. I was delayed in wiring because of work, but started last night. I'm just leaving the Scion one. It don't do crap anyway until someone breaks in.

The proximity trips the video to start recording to a DVR. I have 2 cameras right now, one in each headrest, but working to add 2 more - forward and back. Not satisfied with locations yet Color penny size cams - daytime and black/white night. Video is really good, even thru tint. Night in pitch dark is not good at all, but under street light...just fine.

The proximity also trips the voice module to say 5 custom messages. I guess we can get creative with this.

So far, with the dvr system, the compustar, the voice and proximity and the little cameras...under $700. Wiring dome myself. Catching some A$$ Clown keying the car with his face recorded....PRICELESS

 

i would love to catch the [insert creative explitive] who keyed mine heh...
