What would be some good speakers and a sub to go with this reciever. Would I need an amp?

without a 4ch amp right...I would get the infinity reference or the polk dB cause they sound nice without an amp!

just my 2 cents,

I'm going to pick up a CDA-9833, and I'm going with Polk Audio db6500s from Crutchfield. they have a special on Polk till the end of the month.

I'm going to be amp'ing my components though.

I would go with the 9833 over the 9853 especially if your not going to amp your speakers

Comparison of the units:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-hAfGUfP...53=on&x=13&y=4

The 2 things that stand out to me are the 9833 is the only deck with 4v preouts which means better signal transfer to amps, and 26RMS 60 watt peak built in amplifier over the 9853 and 9851 with weaker 18RMS amp built in
