I'm in need of some advice. I'm piecing together an audio system for my tC and i'm pretty new to this. Here are some of the items i've chosen so far...any feedback and advice would be greatly apreciated, and if i'm missing anything that would help the others to function, please let me know...
Oh btw...i'm building this system around my 40 gig ipod and a JL 12WO-4 which I already have...

I don't know, but I'm a high end type of guy...I like Diamond audio, Focal, or Image Dynamic speakers, and a nice Xtant amp or 2 would be great.

 

lol...ok? so youre saying alpine, infinity, jl and an ipod are low end?

just get some inifinity reference for the rear so its matched up and you have the start to a pretty good system (its just me i am kinda **** about having matching interier speakers)

 

how many speakers are in the tc altogther? I never actually checked

What amp are you gonna run for the sub? You could run the components of the head unit and just get a good amp for the sub ...

 

that setup you posted is almost identical tomine, accept I have infinifty perfect 6.1 components and an alpine 9831.. It sounds clear as crap, so dont hesitate getting infinity reference, im sure they are decent/.

You have them in the front and back?

 

The MRP-F240 is a 4 channel or 2 channel bridged ... How many subs do you have? That amp is good for the mids ands highs ...

I have the Alpine 9835 w/ Alpine Type-S 6.5"/1" components up front and it sounds sic!

 

I only have one JL 12WO-4

 

I would use the MRP for the mids and highs and get a mono amp for the sub! The MRD-M301 would be a good one for your set up!

what im confused about is how many componet set ups imma have to buy? Do the tC's have 4 speakers + 2 tweeters or 6 + 2 tweeters?

 

They have 4 up front (1 mid and 1 teweeter on each side) and 2 in the rear ... I would do Components in the front and a good set of 2-way speakers in the rear ...

 

Hmm my setup is sort of similar... I have the Jl XR components and coaxials 6.5" with the mrp-f240 and am wanting to get the cda9851 and kca420i how do you like them...
