Any Dual Battery setups?
I'm debating doing this on my tC, i have a brand new yellow top in my garage and really want to put it in. I'm going to have 2 amps, 1 sub and interiors. But the big thing is I like going to the drive ins and cranking up my system.
Don't want to worry about a dead battery or starting my car so i was just curious if anyone has done this already, especially to a tC

no but its not gonna be that difficult you just have to find a secure place to put the battery and ground it... I am considering doing this as well but with the supercharger coming soon it might have to be put on hold.

yeah i know it easy, actually it almost looks like something can be fabbed so the 2nd batt can go under the stock batt. there is a ton of room there. But the other option is in the rear hatch area but ive heard its bad to have a batt in the same cabin as you? not sure. mmmmmmmm supercharger

o yea forgot about that part... JC Whitney has a good choice that aren't too expensive for 2 battery setups... I would suggest letting a pro do this stuff unless your familar with electrical work.

i i already have the iso, i do lots of little custom installs so im very familiar with vehicle electrical systems. i just have never put in a 2nd batt. plus i wanted to see if anyone that has done it, and where they put the batt. Thanks for the help! i love this forum so far but even more, what a great car!

You only need an Isolator if the batteries are not identical. Used to have several Yellow Tops in my xA, worked like a charm, but they are being replaced with BatCap 8400's for this years comp season.
Kind Regards,
Matt
