Default Any how-tos on amp installations?

My buddy who always did my amp installations is moving next week and I need to install an amp next week, I have done them before but I am wondering if anyone has done a how-to with pics and everything as I am not sure where to run the wires and I dont want to fubarr anything as this is a new car so I dont want wires and ____ hanging around like I have done in the past on my beaters.

On my BOX I ran the power lead from the batt. down the fire wall next to the brake booster then under following the lines running along the inside drivers frame rail back to over the axle then up through the rear . Where the spare tire is there is a black plug that holds the carpet kinda just left of the center but center front to rear- Drill hole large enough for wire size and grommit. tap into the rear 2 speakers by removing those 4 side anchor points and pulling out the top of the side panels to access the speakers. Then disconnect the speakers to gain more wire to tap into with the crimp tappers (dont cut into the wires). Grounding for the amp is possible by using the bolts that hold the rear seats (directly behind rear seats there are 4 to choose from I believe) as far as turning on the amp Just run a line from the radio fuse to a switch the back to the amp to turn it on. good luck and take your time.

hey guys thanks for the info, the one in the rech section is pretty worthless and I am trying to run everything inside because I dunno I just dont like the idea that it could possibly get pulled by something sometime and I like everything running inside through the firewall somehow and through the interior of I can..

Amp wont be here till buddy is gone so I may just pay bestbuy 80 bucks to do it and bring my own install kit if I dont figure it out.. If I do I will make a nice how-to though as it is really needed..
