I will be running 1 Audiobahn AW1508T with an Audiobahn A1500HCT pushing it. It should be pretty shaking.

Small car or large car?

I db dragged mine this weekend and I hit 133 with it. It sucked because I only had a song, not a bass track. I need to get Bass Mekanik or something similar to that.

To accurately measure your vehicle, first you need to know what your resonate frequency of the car is. You also should know what frequency your enclosure plays the best at.

When metering your car, you should always use a tone rather than music.

Also there are different types of meter s out there. B&K being the most difficult and the new Term Lab meter in a close 2nd. We metered a focus at work with only 1 10 in a sealed enclosure with a VR600D. It did a 129 on the new Term Lab.

Opps sorry, i meant 139, well a 138.6 to be exact....Dang my 8's hit harder than 129....

Anyways..it was a Crossfire BMF w10d (dual 4's) in a seal enclosure with a Crossfire VR600D running at 2ohms (the amp is 1ohm stable).

We were messing around at work so we lined up and SPLed my car and then a co-worker of mine.. He kicked my ___.. He had a focus hatchback.

it was in a 96 ford mustang 2 12s punch xlc in a sealed box with the subs facing the front of the car.it was at 72hz or 73 hz at 143db with a fosgat 800 4a at 400 rms x2
i ran the 12s in parallel on 2 ch bridge and the other 2 ch bridge with 2 6x9s and 2 6x8s i go to meca sound-off now got a ported spl box with 800 4a just on the 12s
400 x 2 rms

What kind of amp are you running? i want to run 2 12" l7's in a sealed in my box i was thinking maybe a jl 1000/1 amp @ 2ohm......it won't really be incredibly loud b/c i want to glass it in and make it pretty rather than all dB....the 1000/1 amp produces more than enough power to run the L7's but i don't really want to spend all that money....whats the RMS rating on that amp that ur using?

139 with one 10 sealed on a termlab? That seems a little steep... especially at that wattage... Keep in mind, real SPL should be windows up, doors closed mic on the dash or lower portion of the window...

I was at an IASCA world finals event the other day, and there were world record holders there... I remember the one talked about competitor had a single L7 10" vented with 4kW RMS and she was doing 137 on an audiocontrol sensor (new, dead on with the termlab.net)

Honestly, if you said vented, it's believable, but sealed? I doubt it.

On a side note, the termlab.net seems to be anywhere from 4-10db's lower than a capsule mic...

I did SLAP last year a couple times, took second at one show, stabilized my electrical problems and went to the next show and took a 1st place trophy.

My 151 in stock 2 was good for last year, considering it was only 2db's off of the stock 2 SLAP record... mine was tuned for daily driving, too...

i want to get my box metered as well. i have 2 12" elemental designs a seires ported tuned to 30hz with about 1000 watts rms each. my roof and side panels flex pretty nicely and nobody has been able to endure sitting in my car listening to lil jon - bme click for for than a minute or two. definitely 140db+ though comparing it to other cars i have seen/heard get metered.
