Honestly, if you said vented, it's believable, but sealed? I doubt it.
I wouldnt of believed it either if i didnt see it with my own 2 eyes.

And yes I am familiar with how SPL is done. After all we have competitors that hold World Records in the Extreme class.

wtf thats not very high at all...... with 2 mtx 8000 15s coupled with memphis 1000d i hit a 147.4 on a meca mic. i also used one memphis HPO slot vented 15 with 1000d i hit a 149.1 db........im not sure how the hell you only get 137 db with a vented 10 with 4k watts......unless your car is the size of a bus...

It was a termlab.net.... enough said... MECA is for sissys.

Yes...You should have a transfer functiion map worksheet. to figure out the in car and out of car freq. With the worksheet it will give you a beeter idea of what your enclosure should be tuned at to maximize the SPL in your vehicle.

from what i've been told a xb is around 55-60hz or so for the frequency resonance

I used to have a kicker L7 15" in a 4.5 cu. ft. box with a port tunned to 30Hz. Powered by RF 1000.1bd amp in a hatch foucs. It hit somwhere int the 150's.

I just delivered a pair of 15" L7's and an audiobahn AT2300H amp, hell be running 2400 W 1200 a piece in his 330ci ....i wonder what thatll produce..,
