Cool, I will post pics as soon as I find an amp to buy and get it installed.. Too bad I don't already have the amp because its been fairly warm here in MA this week, want to get it done before it starts getting too cold.

Right!!!

I'm in Concord, NH and been loving it...If I knew where you were I'd hit you up for help. I just got an amp and lower end bazooka to throw in. I want to do it myself but I'm a bit hesitant. Best Buy wants like $100 and that is too much...

I may just go for it!!! I don't know yet...how hard is it?

^^ Not hard, but you want to do it right from a safety and reliability standpoint. If it looks clean, so much the better!

<whispers> Hint, hint...search...lots of post are here!

That is the main thing I am concerned with is keeping it as clean as possible. I am probably going to mount my amp to the box so I am going to need to run everything all the way to the back.

OK...so I took the plunge...IT'S ALIVE...ALIVE!!!

I had to break earlier after I ran the wiring to the amp, but I wanted to see if it worked so I just hooked everything up...and bingo was his name-o. I'm psyched!!!

I'll mount everything tomorrow when it's daylight...but I had to see if I did everything right...another item to add to the resume!!!

Congrats on popping your car audio 'cherry'

So how did you run everything? I was thinking of running the power through the firewall grommet, behind the radio then running the power and RCA's down the drivers side and the speaker wire and remote down the passenger side..

I am not sure how easy the 'running down the side' is to do yet so looking for some feedback. I was thinking the seats look easy enough to take out, but I am hoping not to have to go that far if I can help it.

Right!!!

My wiring...I sliced a small hole in the firewall grommet on the drivers side and pushed it through. I'll seal it with some silicon tomorrow as well, but it's sealed pretty well as it is. I ran that behind and down behind (make sense) the center console, and over to the passenger side sills. I came out just under the middle of the passenger side seat because that's where I'm going to mount the amp...under there.

I ran the remote and RCAs the same way...back behind and down the passenger side...but that raises a question based on your post...is it better to seperate them to keep interference down? The reason I did it that way was because there is nothing running along the passenger side sill except for the rear wiper fluid line I think.

As far as mounting...I'll probably just zip tie it down instead of screws...I've seen it done that way before and it's held just as well...plus I don't want to take the seats out either.

Make sense???

Always try to keep your RCA cables as far away from power cables as possible.

ALL DONE!!!

Rewired the power down the drivers' side and over...mounted the amp and sub...sounds great...just what I needed. Though I mounted the bazooka at a slight angle going from the middle towards the drivers' side tail because it would not fit straight...plus I figured it would "bounce" the sound better with a bit of space...
